So I have a lot of time to myself during the day/night when Jim is gone and all the stores are closed :) So my mind tends to wander a lot.
I wanna preface this by saying I'm not the most active person you've ever met, probably closer to the less active end of it. But today/tonight I've been working on cleaning our apartment. Cleaning slash organizing. And yes it has taken me all day and I'm still not close to done, I get distracted easily, don't judge, haha. But as I got out of the shower I remembered that I needed to check the dryer because I put some satin sheets in there, and I wasn't sure how they were going to survive. So I go straight to the dryer in my towel. (sorry, not trying to paint any images, but it's part of the story :) Anyway, I get carried away doing the laundry because by this point of the night I have about four loads accumalated on my bed. So I start folding, not bothering to get dressed yet. Eventually I walk back into the bathroom to put the towels away and catch a glimpse of my non-clothed self in the mirror and the thought crosses my mind......
What if we didn't wear clothes? What if what you saw in the mirror is what you had to display to everyone in the world? When's the last time you took a good look at yourself? I mean I'm not in the worst shape, but I'm not in the best shape either, and I would guess that if I couldn't hide the extra pounds in a pretty patterned shirt, and flattering jeans that I just might be more concerned with the way I look. I know it sounds pretty vain, but it's true, isn't it? I wondered if those of us who are overweight wouldn't be if they couldn't hide behind material? But then are we really hiding it that well? I'm definitely thankful that we live in a non-naked world, and that I was able to slip into my comfy sweats and tshirt. But it did cause me to think about getting in better shape, ya know just in case we do go to a clothes optional world. haha
I know, weird thought, but like I said....I have a lot of time on my hands at night! haha

Haha! YOu're funny! I'm grateful we wear clothes!
Thank goodness for clothes right? So, I think we've all had similar thoughts...you're not crazy, in fact pretty normal I'm sure ;) Just wait until you're prego one day, then you'll really be grateful. lol.
