Table for One Please...

So, I know I complain a lot about all the reasons I don't like Jim working nights, but here's another one for ya.

Eating Alone.

It's hard enough trying to eat healthy with just two people, cut the number in half and it becomes near impossible. At least for me. Because I see no need in making a whole dinner for me, myself and I. So I usually end up popping something in the microwave, making a frozen pizza, grabbing something at a drive-thru, or my favorite....not doing anything at all for dinner and snacking all night.

Although I want to report that I made a whole dinner for just myself tonight. A roast with carrots and potatoes and a side of green beans. I know, I really out did myself, you don't have to tell me. :) So now I'll dish myself up and go plop down on my bed to watch TV and eat, cause what's the use of using the table, right? :)

*Oh and I added a link to a blog page that has 365 ways to use your crock pot, I love it. I think crock potting is the easiest way to make a yummy dinner. She has some pretty cool stuff on there if you're a crock potter like me!

I agree- crock pots are the way to go! I love putting in a bunch of stuff and then leaving for the day---and then coming home to cooked food....mmmm!
I had the saddest picture of you in my head eating all by yourself! :( I wish I was nearby and I would eat dinner with you!

I totally know how you feel! It's no fun being by yourself. My husband has been out of town for 2 weeks...I haven't made a single home-cooked meal! But I must agree...crock pots are great! Just know you're in good company when you're eating all alone :)

Hooray for Crock pots! That is what we have to do half the time because we are in the same situation as you!

It's no fun eating alone... but at least the better tv shows are on at night ;)
