Friday the 13th...

Was good to us. :) It's the first day in about a week and a half or so that I haven't woken up with something hurting or running or pounding or wheezing...etc. I felt good. Tired because I had to get up after only 4 hours of sleep, but good overall.

Jim went to the doc and got his stitches taken out. Got the note from the doc that says he's good to go for work, and he's excited to get back to the streets. Jim doesn't do well not working, he loves to work. Loves to be 'anxiously engaged'. Something I've always admired, not envied, but admired :)

I finally got some laundry done today. Jimmy cleaned the kitchen and our house is slowly getting back into order.

I paid our bills and refigured our budget. Made sure we had enough set aside for our trip at the end of the month.

Got my grocery list and coupons cut for shopping tomorrow.

And then spent the evening with my hubby. We went to two movies, dinner and made a stop by the parentals place.

Our favorite dollar theatre has been closed down the past few months and it has really bummed us out. We would go there like once a week, sometimes more depending on what movies they had there. I just can't, I try sometimes, but can't cough up $21 bucks to go see a movie at the 'real' theatres. It drives me crazy to pay so much. That's like four movies outta the cheap bin at Wal-Mart. I love the dollar theatre...

And it made us so happy that it re-opened today. It got a facelift. And a good one. It smells of new carpet and fresh paint. My favorite. The bathrooms are decent, and clean. The lobby is well lit and the chairs are all new! I'm just so happy it's open again. We went and saw Yes Man then took a break for food and the parents place and then went back for Bride Wars.

Friday the 13th was indeed a good day for us. And for that I am thankful. I love days like today. Tomorrow Jim will go back to work and I will go enjoy the Aloha Festival and hopefully get some food back in our house at some point....we'll see :) Hope ya'll have a good weekend!

Glad to read that you had a good start on the weekend =) Dollar theaters are the best! I've become a big fan of renting movies because 10 bucks a ticket is ridiculous!!! I remember when it was 6 matinee and 8 for prime time, now I sound like an old lady!!! Love You guys!!
