So the Fiesta Bowl is held here in Arizona, Glendale to be exact. We live about 40 minutes from the stadium. And once it was announced that Boise State would be playing in the game this year, well I bet you can guess where we were last night.
But our festivities didn't start last night.
Sunday there was a pep rally for BSU at Tempe Town Lakes.
Of course we had to go.
It was fun. It was a beautiful day. And I love spending time with my hubby. Especially when he's wide-eyed and excited like a giddy little school girl. I really do enjoy going to things like this with him because he loves it so much.
So we spent a couple hours with about 8000 other BSU fans and then had some yummy dinner.
Then we had the kids (my younger siblings) over to burn our Christmas tree that Jim had chopped up about a week ago and make some S'mores.
We have a fire pit in our backyard, so don't worry we weren't doing anything illegal :) So we burned the tree and then threw in some other wood and roasted away. We called it a night when the kids started looking for things throughout the house to throw in the pit and burn :)
It was a good day. Sorry, I didn't have my camera with me :(
