Happy V-Day

So my hubby hates Valentines Day. Not that he doens't LOVE to show how much he loves me, haha, he just doesn't think there should be a specified day to do so. He hates commercial holidays. I think he'd be happy if we just celebrated Thanksgiving and Christmas...

Anyways. So he wasn't too upset when he had to work this year on V-day. But my valentine did take me out to lunch before he went into work. Which was sweet. He was able to do that 'cause he's working later hours this week. He didn't have to go in 'til five. That's 'cause he's working the NBA All-Star weekend. Ya I don't feel bad for him either. I told him he could bring Kobe home with him if he wanted to. :)

We went to see Sage perform in a battle of the bands. They kinda messed up on their second song, but they've got some good stuff going on. The ended up coming in third and won 50 bucks. Not too bad, they've only been together for two weeks.

So here's some pictures from today. I'm headed to Nick and Michelle's place for a V-day party. It's not weird that I'm flying solo, right? :)

Ya my husband thinks Valentines Day is dumb also. It sets a standard that guys are suppose to follow, when most don't want to. They do like seeing us happy though and that's why they give in :op Yay for going out to lunch. That was are plan until Adam surprised me with breakfast.

I'm learning that most men hate V-day... my husband does too. I always tell him that it's just one day a year to do something extra special, not the everyday stuff. He just does stuff out of fear, because if he didn't do anything he knows he'd be in trouble :)haha. Our anniversary is 3 days before V-day so it does make it kinda strange...it's like the same thing? Good to know I'm not the only wife out there with a husband like mine when it comes to V-day :)
