I love to see the Temple...

This past week I was able to go to the Mesa temple twice. The first time was with my hubby as a part of a cool thing we do with his side of the family. For a month straight we have at least one person from the Campbell family in the temple somewhere in the world, as an act of unity and support of one another. It has transcended its original purpose, and is such a wonderful and beautiful thing to participate in. The second time through was with my younger brother, Bubba, who will be leaving for his mission in El Salvador in two weeks. It was such a neat experience to be there with him as he went through for the first time.

My dad was also able to be set apart as a veil worker while we were there. He did this at the San Diego temple while we lived back in Cali, but here you have to be a member of the bishopric to be able to work in the temple at the veil. So when we first got here he was bummed he couldn't continue to serve in the temple in that capacity, but since being called to the bishopric he is excited to be able to do that again.

Anyway. It was a great week, and I felt blessed to be in the house of the Lord twice. I will be going back this Wednesday and can't wait. :)
