an officer was killed this morning from Jim's precinct.
he was 29, married and a father of two.
his second child was just born two weeks ago.
his wife sent him off to work last night just like i do with jim four nights a week, but her hubby didn't make it home this morning.
it breaks my heart.
it hits too close to home now having our baby and knowing had it been one day's difference it very well could've been jim responding to that call.
my body aches for the wife and kids that are now left without a husband and father and for the young life that was taken too soon.

Oh man... Shaye may... I'm so sorry to hear that!!
It is very scary....I don't want Jim to go home anytime soon, same with Joe. I pray for the both of them daily as I am sure you do also. My heary goes out to his wife and kids
