I know I've been MIA, but I just had to share my good day, 'cause they've been few and far between lately.
It actually started with a good night's sleep, loooooovvvvvveeee my sleep, and love when I sleep well. Fell asleep cuddling and slept like a baby all through the night.
Got up and finished my work, grabbed some Sonic with the hubby before he went to work, because I'm crazily addicted to Cherry Limeade.
Vegged on the couch for an hour or so looking for rental houses and a job for my brother.
Got a call from the company that I work for saying that I won the 100% drawing. Meaning that I had scored 100% on some of my work from the previous month and they put my name in a raffle and I won! Yay! I get a gift card to Wal Mart.
Went to mom and pops and helped Shy make a plant cell out of candy...fun stuff.
Ate a yummy dinner.
TALKED TO ELDER BUBBA AIONO!!! :) Oh how I miss that kid. He sounds so........Hispanic. I love him. He's doing great. We got a hour with him, which flew by when there's six other kids and mom and pops. But we enjoyed our time with him.
Then I convinced Mom that school is for fools and to let the kids come spend the night because tomorrow is my birthday and I would've been home all by myself all day. No fun for a birthday. Jim is usually home in the mornings, but tomorrow he has court. So the kids are spending the night and we're gonna have a festive day tomorrow :)
But it gets even BETTER. As we were leaving the parentals Seth was outside talking on his phone and we were walking out of the house and he was like 'whose puppy is this?' and we were like 'what?!?, what puppy?'. So my sisters run towards him and at his feet licking his legs is THE MOST ADORABLE little puppy I've seen in a lllllllllloooooooonnnnnnnnngggggggg time. We scooped him up and he was giving loves all around.
I told Mom that it was her moral duty to take the poor pup inside and put him up for the night since they already have a dog and a kennel and food and all that good stuff.
It was love at first sight. I called Jim and told him about our find. I jokingly said that I was going to keep him and that it was a sign that we are to have a dog. I've been wanting one FOREVER.
And you know what he said?????
YES!!!!!!!
:) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
So unless someone comes knocking on the door for him, which I told Mom not to answer, I'll soon be the owner of my very own dog! :) He'll have to stay with mom and pops until we're out of our lease here, but still.
We're pretty sure he's been lost for a while. He's pretty skinny, and he ate and drank so much when we fed him. But he is a bundle of joy and so well tempered, so far at least. :)
Thankfully we've gone through the puppy stage recently with my parents dog, so we know what to expect, and it'll be doing all it's house training at their house, so even better! :)
Yay!
Sorry there's no pictures, didn't take any yet. But more to come soon.
**one bit of bad news mixed in with some good news: Jim has fulfilled his year long probationary period with Phoenix PD and will be moved to permanent status here in a week or so. YAY! but with that he has been transferred to a new squad, same precinct and area but different shift. So ask me what the new shift is? 8:30 PM to 6:30 AM BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Guess you gotta take the bad with the good, eh? *sigh*
